"Steppin' Ahead" is the first label to specialize in Dubstep from Japan.
While working in unison with the movement in Europe, we placed high value on 'individual artistry',
creative 'sensibilities', and got a unique and original sounds.
This is the 2nd release from Steppin' Ahead.

ヨーロッパや世界各国のいくつかのDUBSTEP FMラジオ局の番組で楽曲が紹介されるなど日本より海外での評価が高い彼は、HIP HOP/TECHNOをバックグラウンドに持ち安定したファットなべースサウンドと多彩なリズムプログラミングが魅力。ダークでいてどこかコミカルでポップなセンス、またほのかに感じさせる「和」のテイストは、彼にしか生み出せない独自の音楽性です。2008年にはDubstep/Grimeを大胆に取り入れた、ヒップホッププロデュ-サーKKのアルバム”in the Khaos ‘69”に全面参加し、サウンドに彩りを添えた。今作はポーランドのNo.1グライムMC、FS Danとの共演曲01にスタートし、02-04の太く聴かせる充実のインスト陣、05でのユニークなパキパキテクノのセンス、関西の重鎮DJ、タトルとの共演作の歪んだドープサウンド08、アルバムのハイライトとも言えるダンサブルな強烈ダブステップナンバー09、70年代マイルスを思わせるダークなジャジーサウンドが光る11、そしてメロウに漂うラストチューンに至るまで、彼の幅広い音楽性が存分に味わえ、ノーマルにベースを唸らせるだけのダブステップサウンドとは一線を画したカラフルな仕上がりとなっており、聞き所満載の1枚。
